I can see why they made it free. This game is absolutely abysmal — playing 'endless' on easy lasted all of 20 seconds until the game defeated me, and I promptly removed the game from my iPhone. Really, genuinely poor form.
The suffix .app is used in Mail.app and Dictionary.app because the names ‘Mail’ and ‘Dictionary’ do not properly determine exactly what is being referred. If this article explained how to make the most of the dictionary, you would not be faulted for believing the article would be full of tips about word tips and index information that translates to any dictionary, rather than the Dictionary application on your Mac.

The same, if not to a larger extent, applies to Mail.app. Saying ‘10 tips for Mail’ could be tips for managing your email, advice for signatures, and good practices for other email etiquette. Simply sufficing ‘.app’ eliminates this potential confusion.
This list of new features is wrong, that's the Sharetool features from versions previous. The new one is more about streamlining connections, a tighter knowledge of ways to reconnect, the ability to be automatically emailed with the new port settings, and a speedier connection thanks to the default compression being higher.
The serial number checks out: it's under warranty until October 2009. http://www.chipmunk.nl/cgi-fast/applemodel.cgi shows that the iPod was made in Shenzhen, China, week 35, 2008, which is this week.

Someone I know saw one of these at a mass retailer in Australia today.
I hear they're making iPod touch with speakers built in now.
When people say "You can't listen to your music while playing such-and-such game" they don't realise that simply pressing the button on the earbuds (be it the Apple or 3rd-party) will start the music again. It's not an embago on music, it just stops it when the game starts. From there, you can play all the music you want.
Scare == Scarce. Both are terribly horrific things to go through as a parent.
I think I'll get this one. I liked A level, but it was so clearly slapped together quickly.
You know what? Good on them for actually making the effort to make a well designed, high margin machine. God knows Apple needs the competition in the field.

(This as an Apple fanboy, if someone has to buy a PC one, I like anyone bucking the cheaper-is-always-better trend).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
