I'm the opposite. The phone works great and never crashes on me but the lack of graphic acceleration makes apps a little sluggish. Can't wait for a software update to enable GPU acceleration. Compared with my iTouch I like the interface on the Pre better but it's just not as smooth at the moment without the GPU optimization.
Just swapped mine through ASS-urion when the screen got cracked. No problems syncing but all my data is really on Google and Exchange so I don't really care about any Palm profile. I actually made a new one for the new device because I wanted to start from scratch and not pull down anything from the old profile such as installed apps.
It's pretty damn good but Sprint is cheaper, also has the same speeds on EVDO Rev. A, and roams for free on Verizon towers when you are in a Verizon-only area. VZW does definitely have the more extensive network but when you roam on it free for less, I think you get the better deal.
Just waiting for a Tegra based smartphone running Android 2.0. The day something like that comes out on Sprint I am breaking out the wallet.
Right...because nobody has ever made a tablet PC and I'm sure nobody was working on these new ones until Apple rumors started. If it weren't for Apple we would all be doomed. Doomed I say!
Anyone else tired of pointless replies? *They're* boring and borderline unreadable.
Nah, in this case Verizon is MS and ATT is Apple. Verizon gives you more for your money but when they point it out in an ad (a-la Microsoft's Laptop Hunters) the competition throws a tantrum.

Apple picked a perfect partner in ATT...you pay out the ass to do what everyone else does better and for less money.
Is this that much different from a podcatcher? I get my NPR feeds downloaded over the air as they come out and that's just using a free app on my Pre (drPodder).
This is what I don't get. Sprint phones roam for free on Verizon's towers so I've never really lost signal even in VZW-only areas like some rural markets and in the DC metro. Make sure you have roaming enabled and you should be fine. I've stuck with them due to their having some of the best deals of any US carrier but I would have left long ago if coverage was anythign but adequate. As it is, I've stuck with them from their first Sanyo camera phone to the Pre now.

I'm gonna skip this phone because the Pre is still rocking and they should have an updated Android phone out by the summer with Wimax and better specs a-la the HTC Dragon or Moto Droid.
Stop dictating what brand of hardware I'm legally allowed to run it on.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
