The way to fix the economy: forget the, "too big to fail" mentality. Let poorly run businesses of all kinds fail and be naturally replaced by well run competitors.

The way to fix my storage problem: let me win this!

I'm starting to think this war is even farther from over than we thought, HD DVD players are selling like hotcakes over at Amazon, the #1 selling DVD player is the A3, with all 3 current Toshiba players in the top 10, the highest selling Blu-ray player is #12.

Seems to me WB made a very hasty decision based on a fat check from Sony.
What's with the pompous posts towards Toshibas DVD offerings? Guess what, most of the market doesn't care about Blu-ray or HD-DVD and will still buy Toshiba's regular DVD players and Recorders.

Sure they aren't sexy, but is that a reason to keep putting them down, Engadget? They seem well spec'ed and reasonably priced, that's what most people want, not another $500 player. If you don't want to report about them, don't, but stop wasting your breath and my time on silly negative comments.
Nokia would be great!

"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
