i completely agree as i went in last week to replace mine for a dead pixel and the second i got home i put my brand new 8 gig on ebay and it sold with in 10 min for 400+20 shipping
check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&item=250261343628
hey this is what i was really looking for to comment on, i had an 8 gig since july 1st of last year, i had it nicly protected for 6 months but over time the phone got naked on me and started its usual wear and tear, 2 days ago i noticed a dead pixel on it, Score! TOOK IT TO APPLE AND GOT A BRAND NEW ONE(REFURB BUT JUST AS IT WAS OUT OF THE BOX) got home and put it on ebay to make some money for the new one, the thing sold in 5 min for 400$ plus 20 sipping, after paypal and ebay fees i made 400$, exactly for what i paid for the phone last year with my 100 credit back from apple. sell ur iphones ASAP!!! and get the money for a new one... no joke these things are still hot cakes
completely agree, but i think bill should be focusing his money on other things than charities , maybe pushing new fuel technology, or disease research, being remembered for Microsoft should not be his legacy its what he did with that money should be his final judgment.
pick me im currently unemployed :(
o my i almost dropped my iphone when i read this, but wtf?

Why are we releasing/leaking everything when the SDK is not even out yet?

i soft updated my iphone to 1.1.3, and its not all that, went back to 1.1.2, so i defintly can wait till apple makes a move with the SDK puts some apps up and then we stick it to them, can anyone keep a secret these days?

im not trying to wait till 1.1.4 because everyone couldn't keep their mouths shut ( current drama between nate/dev team )

but i guess, "a secret between two people is only good when one of them is dead"
ok did you go from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2? first question
are you on a mac or pc? second question
why on earth would start anything with out reading the available documentation?

i gotten my iphone out of 3 bricks already, everything is on the internet n how to fix it

simple google search "iphone jailbreaking guides 1.0.2, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 downgrading firmware"

any combination of those words that apply to you will get you everything you need, i used to jump the gun and hacked things with out having half the clue because i never read through the instructions. hopefully this will be a rude awaking for you and next time you read up on what your doing to your 400$ brick.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
