looks like a slightly bastardized rebrand of my acer extensa 4420 which sold for around the same; curved keyboard and all.
Back to the old style squeeze-to-release dock connector then?
This is a new product that hasn't hit the online store yet. The most similar current offering is the version that they sell in retail stores, the s3220n. I got mine for $615 at Circuit City and bought a video card and the LG HD DVD/Blu-Ray drive seperate on Newegg for $300.

The drive comes bundled with a full verson of PowerDVD Ultra which plays back both HD DVDs and Blu-Ray Disks. I really love the system; the only thing that sucks is that it only takes half-height video cards, so I was forced to settle for an MSI 8500GT off of Newegg. The card is nice, with an integrated HDMI output, but it's passively cooled with a giant heatsink: I had to remove the included ATSC/Analog TV tuner from the one and only PCI slot for it to fit.
gahhhh i just picked up the previous generation pavillion slimline from circuit city for $615 and threw in a $300 LG Blu-Ray/HD DVD drive and a $100 8500GT. I could've paid even less and gotten this with an extra gig of RAM, faster proc., and a bigger hard drive.
"Update: We've heard that iTunes 7.3.1.3 can restore a bricked phone with the 1.1.1 update. No confirmation yet, but feel free to let us know if it works for you in comments."

any more info on that? i've downgraded to 7.3.1.3 and attempted restores on my useless, formerly anysim-ed, 1.1.1 phone.

if you try to restore without the actual firmware (having itunes try to download it from the apple servers) it gives an error (update to newest itunes). if you download the firmware manually and stick it in the correct folder, (c/documents and settings/user/application data/apple computer/itunes/iphone software updates) you get the same error.

if you shift-click on update and point it to the downloaded firmware package, it unpacks it, then gives an error.

am i missing something here?
maybe i'm missing something, but wouldn't "love it / hate it" be a little more polarized than "like it / love it." ?
i just got back from my apple store with my 13 day old iphone. $209 price adjustment, no questions asked. oh god i love life.
...bastards

I just put my $150 woot white zune up on ebay. there goes my profit.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
