THey do make ads. For example, see the Chrome ad on Hulu.
It's closed, requiring you to rent one of their boxes. Maybe we can petition the FCC so we get something like a cable card?
Isn't the playcount used to determine how to compensate rights holders if you use the subscription service as well? Do they still let you use the service on the old, broken firmware?
I thought you meant Evangelion was available on Netflix instant streaming. :(
I noticed that the quality of GITS:SAC was excellent when I watched it a while ago on the 360, even though it wasn't in HD. There was a problem where the audio and video on the second season were out of sync. I didn't feel like calling them, but they fixed it eventually.
I'd love PC and Xbox 360 support as well. Blame AT&T.
Their T-Mobile rep probably did tell them that.
If they're anything like the AT&T people. "All channels 1080p" when their box can't even output 1080p and "You'll get the premium services with the HD package without subscribing to them".
@Jordan: You could import it from the UK. You'd need to mod your console, though.
And if Wii sales keep slowing, they could always lower the price to $100.
It didn't brick your phone. You could recover it.
I did a dist-upgrade to the RC, and it failed. Something with kde oops and some other packages. It is the new version now, but I had to reinstall mySQL. It also freezes (X at least) after resuming from standby and gives me a message about the failure of the kernel sound driver after every boot. Using the Intel ICH9 chipset with integrated graphics and sound.
Although I was having problems with X locking up before I upgraded as well. Might have to do a clean install.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
