Yup, spot on. This site REALLY needs to get some more non-USA input with things like this. The future of Nokia is pretty clear - continue to dominate in the non-smartphone market, and work to regain share in the smartphone side of things. There may be some shake ups coming in terms of the OS they use on the smartphones, but that's about it. They're a solid phone manufacturer.
Yeah. This isn't a good deal as far as UK mobile deals go. £25 per month on 18 month, or £35 on 12 month, that'd be a good deal. £35 on 24 month is a no-go.
Likewise, and the fact we seem to be seeing some reasonable sliders coming out as well - this and the Motorola Sholes are what I'm thinking about. Contract on the G1 comes up in December, so I'll be looking for an upgrade around then!
Balls. Either you're lying, or your friend lied to you. For your sake, I hope it's the latter.
Doesn't matter if it's fixed in the most recent phones, only affects jailbroken phones, etc.

Apple should have come out with a statement by now. It's remiss in not clarifying the matter. Even if it's "Yes, there is a vulnerability, and it does affect all iPhones. We're working to fix it ASAP."
Colour me embarrassed, honestly didn't know carriers screened for certain text message patterns.
Right, so you think AT&T is going to intercept every single text message on its network, monitor each sequence of 512 and block those which lead into this exploit?

Bit of the company commentary would have been nice in the post. Good point that a large point of the drop is down to retail selling out and not replacing inventory to the same levels.
Yeah, Esprimo's the business line. Amilo desktop/Scaleo's the new consumer line that's got the same design 'language'.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
