iPhone 2.0 and iPod touch 2.0 released officially {Engadget}

Jul 11th 2008 5:34PM BOTH. That's the sad thing. It's like they don't WANT the $10 fee from me (which IMHO, is ridiculous - making me pay so I can give them MORE money for Apps...).
I'm trying the mirror download file... wish me luck

Segway sales hit all time high, thanks OPEC! {Engadget}

Jun 16th 2008 11:24AM LOL! Yes, walking 17 miles to work @ average 3MPH on 90+ degree weather. "Yes sir, I know I stink and am late, but I deserve that raise, right?"
Bottom line - these devices DO have a place - congested cities. Living in DC is nearly unbearable if all you have is a car (30min to go 2miles just isn't worth it). And this is the only device that is LEGAL on sidewalks/path systems - a scooter is regulated for the congested aggressive-driver-laden streets only
I have personally put over 15k miles on my Segway in the last 2years. The point that people such as yourself are missing is that this ISN'T a substitute for WALKING. As clearly seen by sales figures, it is a replacement for DRIVING. And quite honestly which is lazier - sitting in a car eating one's McGriddle and Hashbrown or standing up for several miles maneuvering though the city?

Next-gen Toyota Prius: bigger, stronger, more Prius-like than ever before {Engadget}

Apr 29th 2008 3:48PM LOL! Actually, I pickup my wife in that car. SHE loved it.
And to comment on others, I'd say about 35% of the people that drive a Prius in my area ARE black. Stop stereotyping.
Plus, looks are one thing, performance is another. I love how people with giant whale-tales and fart-can exhausts make fun of this car when every time I blow them away off the line with my 100+pound-feet of torque thanks to the 0-RPM torque of the electric motor. Quite honestly I feel this to be MUCH more attractive that what most kids WILLINGLY do to their imports. LOL.
Put up or shut up I say.

Pleo finally learns to sit with Life OS 1.1 {Engadget}

Apr 18th 2008 1:58PM Yeeeah, woulda been funny had it not been designed/made in USA.

Frankfurt Preview: Opel Flextreme revealed! {Autoblog}

Sep 8th 2007 11:22AM HA! I laugh - "flop"?
That's like saying cars were a flop when people didn't FLOCK to them in the first 5 years from their horses to "horseless carriages'
There's about 7 people in my town that use PT's everyday to get to work. It depends on where you live, and Europe would be great for something like this.
Can't park to within a mile of your destination? Pull out the PT's. Need to get to a central point and then "cruise" the town? Pull out the PT's. Seems logical to me.

How would you change the Segway? {Engadget}

Sep 8th 2007 2:38AM THERE in lies the flawed logic for 98% of the public. THIS IS NOT A VEHICLE.
At the very beginning it was made law to be allowed on sidewalks and path systems so as not to create a hazard on roads with vehicles.
Also, who the heck walks where they could drive? I know of only a handful of people who walk 10 miles round trip to work every day in 90degree weather.
It's designed to replace DRIVING, not WALKING. Aside from the "exercise loss", I'm not going to take an hour to get somewhere so I can arrive sweaty (and I'm sure there;s people that DON'T sweat magically-heard that a million times) and exhausted in my pricey business suit ready to do business with clients that can't stand my odor. I'd (logically) drive or *gasp* take a PT (Segway)!
This is like saying you're lazy for driving a "horseless carriage" because you don't want to take care of a horse!

Can any car use E85? {Autoblog Green}

Sep 6th 2007 12:10AM Don't know mysty's problem was. Sounds like a little more than an Ethanol problem.
All cars manufactured past 1990 HAVE to have a tolerance to at least E10 (which is what you bought).
Probably had nothing to do with the fuel.
Anywho, I'll post my results on here later. I just ordered that "Full Flex Gold" fuel injector box so I can run E85 in my '06 Prius!
We'll see what happens...
Btw, for those worried about voiding warranties just buy an ECU reader and clear the error codes before you take it in and after you've ran some good 'ol Middle Eastern 86 octane through it a couple times. LOL.
