Acer's are truly terrible. Having worked in a retail store for 2 years, We've had nothing but problems with acer:

1) their hardware is garbage. on one laptop model(they use the same case for every single one of their laptops, resulting in buttons that do nothing) the cddrive would stop responding constantly. You would have to use a paperclip to eject it- then it would start working for a few days. This was on at least 3 laptops that we personally sold.

2) their preinstalls dont work. Both Acer display computers for windows vista would not complete the setup process but instead hang, necessitating in a complete reinstall of the OS. Needless to say, no other computer experienced this problem, even the e-machines.

well the thing is, nintendo has the PSP between two extremely well selling consoles. the DS, and the cheaper, more compact, and can play all GB games GBA SP. Then theres the extremely tiny micro. Square is still developing games for the GBA since you can play them on both the GBA and DS platforms, and their old rpgs dont need anything more advanced.
i work for a store that just got these things in. The speakers look like cheap pieces of garbage, and so does the entire rest of it. I broke one of the displays by just touching it lightly.
to #10:

What the hell are you smoking? Windows has had pre-emptive multi-tasking since Windows 95. I think it may have even been before Apple had it....wait, yes.

from Wikipedia:

"Operating systems such as Microsoft Windows prior to Windows 95 and Windows NT1, and Mac OS prior to Mac OS X relied on this approach(Co-Op Multitasking) to execute multiple programs simultaneously. While its usage in modern computing is on the wane, RISC OS is an example of an operating system which still retains this method."

It also runs pretty well with 1GB of RAM. I can't say the same for IE though, which throws a fit if you have more than 25 windows open.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
