I think the thinking is that, even though it would require the initial fuel movement, the initial mass would be less, and since less fuel is necessary once a craft has reached orbit and beyond, it would be less mass in all.

Think about it. You end up, currently, using more fuel just to lift more fuel for a single mission. Instead, carry just more than is needed, which is less since there isn't fuel taking up mass. Less fuel needed overall. Just a heavy initial investment.
I would most heartily appreciate such a bestowment.
Because that would probably screw up their pricing scheme. They call a Smartphone a device that has a full QWERTY and charge you $30 per month in data for it. While that would be fine for the e71, a T9-based smartphone like the N95 or e66 (or almost anything else from the N or E series) would mess up their pricing system. Good thing for consumers, yes since $15 per month is much better than $30, but bad for the company.
Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe now the late Sir Arthur C. Clarke's vision can be realized.
Finally, a free copy of vista for a boot camp partition.
Dimelo, por favor
This would be great on my macbook.
This would be nice.
Isn't "Grand Universal Conspiracy to Commit Piracy" GUCTCP, not GUTCCP?
@Jimmy
I have a family pack of Leopard installed on just three systems, where I am legally entitled to 5 systems running Leopard. Would it be wrong, in your opinion, for me to download a Kalway disk to put OS X on my PC too? I agree that everyone who wants to run a Hackintosh should eventually buy the disk, but for a noob, there is no point to plunking down $130 for an experiment that might not even succeed to run stably, and could be discarded after a few weeks.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
