Feb 14th 2008 8:05PM This story is BS - I work at Radioshack and while yes, I am on commission, we only get commission on high-margin stuff like cables. If I sold someone a new TV instead of a converter box, I'd actually make *less* commission.
Also, I make it a personal policy to redirect anyone looking for (component or HDMI - the expensive ones) cables to eBay or Monoprice.
