gotta agree with the no movie thought.
it was one of the great tv shows - i just can't see it being the same.
this just may be the most ridiculous thing i've seen written on this site. and that's saying something.

part of the reason cloverfield works is because of the way the theatre environment immerses the viewer in the movie. the huge screen, the sound effects and volume all work to make it more than it could ever be on a portable device or pc.
one question:
where do i get my own hot teenage girl terminator?
isn't Reed Hastings already on record as saying that the netflix business model (renting physical media) will slowly decline in profitability over time? in order for this business to stay profitable it needs something else and it needs to do it before, not after the prevalence of physical media declines - this is the first step.
"I'm...a high school graduate,..."

show off.
"So it looks like Abrams and Co. will keep their monsters well hidden until closer to release."

with any luck they'll keep the monsters well hidden throughout the entire movie.
can someone tell me how to measure stress and show me a stress level chart so i'll know if my stress is extreme or not?
for the record i am not a "tim burton fan", but i have to agree, this is his best film and one of depp's most unique performances.
why is shatner crying news?

cameo's from the actors who's characters are being portrayed by new actors is a lame idea anyway. why would i want to see the young kirk or spock then suddenly the actors who played those characters decades ago suddenly show up? weak.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
