Sony likes to hype things first, figure out how to build/manufacture/market/sell them later.

I'm done with these shenanigans. Gimmie the Apple method of building stuff in secret THEN hyping it when I can actually buy it.
I hope this is an early mock-up cause this is UGLEE!

Imagine if every Xbox or PS2 game came in a giant case that read "DVD" across the top inch. Duh!

Sony: Nobody cares what format disc the stupid game is on. People care about the goddamn games!

Also, from the promo martieals and kiosks I've seen, the PS3's marketing color scheme is black and red, like the PS2's was black and blue. How will the black/red marketing materials look with giant blue cases?
Holy crap. I bet that is really Jack Thompson up there.

Jack, wanna exchange friend codes for some Mario Hoops 3 on 3 or Star Fox Command? I don't think either of those is considered a 'murder simulator' so maybe we can have some friendly fun and get to know each other's opinions a bit better.
Looks like Sony really has to keep the hype up in Europe so people don't buy an available next-gen console.
I've got one of the earlier models and it is an amazing projector for the $. I Highly reccommend with no complaints. I can't say that about other projectors I've used or owned.
This whole article seems to support the notion that this generation of consoles shouldn't support HDTV since it won't be widely adopted for a number of years. Perhaps it makes sense to worry about HDTV, especially 1080p, 5 years from now with the next generation of consoles when HDTV is on the verge of becoming the new dominant format.
I sense a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of fanboys cried out in terror, and then silence.
Hey! Thanks for the shoutout Joystiq.

At least SOMEONE reads my posts. ;-)
These are ugly. They don't match the PSP at all, and make the device so that it does not fit into any cases.

Duh!

No longer portable!
Where can we import?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
