Can't wait for Halo: Reach for the Stars
Considering most of these interviews are usually just PR-speak and there is no personality, it's kind of refreshing even if it's juvenile.
I don't know why so many people think you can't hold something while playing Natal, doesn't really make any sense especially since interacting with props were in the concept videos from E3.
Because they cost like $200+, can cause headaches, and you'd need a pair for each person (all of which have batteries that need to be charged). And some people already need prescription glasses. And it's not really 3D, its just two 2D images sent to either eye. A real 3D display would simulate the wavefront of light by controlling the light phase at the surface of the display and of course wouldn't need glasses.
As long as glasses are required it's a stupid gimmick they're trying to shove down our throats. They need to work out how to vary the light phase at the surface of the display instead of scattering it all over the place.
Nintendo needs to release a proper new Wii Zelda, not some Gamecube port.
I think it's a long-running inside joke by the engineers, figure out how to fit their 1980s clock into the dash every of car they make.
Of course they'll buy it. Most people get multiple controllers anyway, it's just another one. There's even tons of people, myself included, who spend hundreds of dollars on plastic instruments.
I hope that's a girl that's riding the horse.
Rad Racer on the NES had 3D and it was nothing special.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
