Currently have the Samsung Mondi in my hands running on the Clear network here in Vegas, and I must say, I love the damn thing. It's fast, Opera 9.5 is smooth, just installed PockeTwit on it and everything is super fast. Yes, it's WinMo with some nice Samsung touches in there. It's definitely pocketable, a bit heavy though. But I'm used to carrying around an HTC Touch Pro so it's not a deal breaker for me. I spend most my time in Vegas so I think I will eventually pick one up.
Because the analog vs. digital battle is long and there are no winners, I will just offer up a bit of where I come from. I started out DJing on vinyl in the mid 90's, went strictly into producing for the majority of the time, and as of the last few years got back into DJing. Since my chosen style of music is industrial, rhythmic noise, power noise, etc, these releases are not readily available on vinyl these days. Most are CD's and MP3-based. So immediately I have very few choices. To make sure I'd be into it again, I bought a shitty Hercules MK2 (precursor to the Hercules RMX and now, this one).

After trying out a few different pieces of software (VDJ, Traktor, Deckadance, Mixx) I settled between using either Traktor or VDJ (depends on my mood), but then moved up to a Presonus Firebox for my soundcard (firewire sexiness), and the Vestax VCI-100 for my MIDI controller. When I want to have a bit more fun when not out DJing with that rig, I use Serato and timecoded vinyl, and when I have my CD book around, I'll switch over to some CDJ's or whatever else is laying around.

Case in point - don't use beatlock, don't use "auto mix" or any of that crap - still go by your ear as any proper DJ and you should be fine. And get the Vestax VCI-100 damnit, it's one of the best controllers out there.
Nextnet was given to Motorola in trade for funding Clearwire earlier on... so same CPE casing with the Motorola logo and different guts for WiMax.
Everyone keeps assuming this is WiMax, which it is NOT. Think of this card a stop gap until the WiMax express cards come out. Expedience (the OFDM solution Clearwire currently uses) is not WiMax. Everyone is making a big stink out of an Expedience air card... For those that have seen this announcement before, that may be because you were in a market where Clearwire was doing their alpha and beta testing. Today is just their "official" release to all markets.
Only reason that packet shaping is in effect is because the current network does not allow for a whole lot of bandwidth anyhow. WiMax will clear this up and packet shaping will go away. Everyone who says Clearwire is WiMax currently is full of it. It's based off Expedience, which in itself is a flavor of OFDM. And all this whole partnership does is allow CW to roam on Sprint's network, and vice versa. It's about time that US companies start cooperating with each other, as Europe and Asia have been doing for years.
OR, you can just use Desktop Manager 4.1, and in Intellisync, you have an option to import from PALM device, for FREE! :O
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
