I would very much like this.
Looking forward to the update. Love my Kindle, but hate the organizational structure. Would be nice to be able to edit tags within the Kindle itself too; I know the DRM excludes being able to mess with the actual metadata, but for organizing purposes, there could be a...uh...like...pseudo-metadata system or something. If that makes sense.
That's the thing I hate most about mDP. I work on a college campus and all of our projectors have VGA connections. But we always seem to get that random Mac user that doesn't know a damn thing about their computer and is absolutely clueless about needing an adapter in the first place, much less which adapter they need, resulting in me constantly having to go through the whole spiel of DVI, mini DVI or mini DisplayPort.

Please, people, if you're going to own a Mac, know how to actually USE it and be sure to actually OWN the adapters/devices needed to use your Mac on a PC campus.
If unlimited data plans ever drop sharply in price, this would be the phone I'd go for. Right now, I pay about $65/mo combined for two phones on Verizon; I could afford maybe another $20/mo, but beyond that, it would be more worth it to just hit up one of my computers.
Hey now, show the C64 some love. GEOS represent!
Apparently Apple has finally accepted that they're the platform choice of smug pricks the world over!
No idea. This doesn't impress me at all over the Kindle, honestly. I don't regret buying my K2 one bit.
I have to say that I absolutely love these comment threads. Great entertainment.

And yes, I'm an Apple-hater, so thbbbt.
Oh my god! Apple invented the trackball!

Wait a second...
Stupid auto-login... That should have read, "I'm positively giddy over the whole thing."
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
