LED is refering to Light Emiting Diodes, a technology that's quite old actualy, supposedly invented in the 1920's. You can find LEDs almost everywhere.
LCD is refering to Liquid Crystal Display, and is a completely different technology

until now LCDs have been using CCFL tubes (neon lamps) as backlight, but these tubes contains mercury, they are heavier, thicker and uses more energy than LED techonoly. A LED TV is still a LCD, but with LED as backlight instead of CCFLs
There's something wrong with the specs... FRC 8bit ? dont think so.

Why would you even use FRC on a 8bit display ? and if you would, you would deffinetly get more than 16.2 million colors.

Nope, bogus, its a 6bit TN panel with FRC
Brand loyalism could actualy bee a good thing, to some extent. We consumers have the power to say what is OK for a company to do and not to do. For example if you have a company A and a company B, company A have the better product but uses foul play and "ugly" methods. Wich company's product would you buy ?

I know neither Intel or AMD use fair play, but Intel is probably the least fair.
I would say that the lower pop density, the harder and more expensive it is to connect everyone due to greater cost pr capita.

It sure is easier to build a good infastructure in a smal country, however the cost pr capita is greater, and because the US is such large and powerfull market you have a totaly different level of competition between companies.

In Sweden we pay much more tax than the us , between 30 to 50%(on our salaries). Thus the government have more money to build a good infastructure (pr capita again). Due to the fact that Sweden is such a small country, the politics in the US would never work here, and the other way around. This makes the two countries totaly different, and quite hard to compare.
I certanly would not mind one of those :)
I love free stuff
is it already x-mas ?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I love my little computing companion but I often find myself missing a full sized keyboard. I have been looking at several of these portable and flexible keyboards, but I can't seem to make up my mind about which I should buy. I don't want the keyboard to be overly expensive, but I want it to be good quality. Also, how difficult is it to type on these keyboards? Thanks!"
