Happy birthday!!
Take me away on an aeroplane and I will have your baby!
Don't you guys get it?! it's so very obvious! They are selling durable computer products and they are showing it by having a fake gator chewing on the cable and a weak hammer hitting at the screen and a ugly woman drinking coffee in the background not caring.
Gee! do I have to explain everything to you people?!
Hmmmm, sounds like certain fruit company we all love (and for some of us, to hate).

Seriously tho, Sony usually makes awsome hardware (PSP, PS3) and crap software support (PSP, PS3).
Bum fist fight over crack rocks? You realize people paid good money to buy DVD of those things, right? And you watch it for free?!
Ultimate useless disc machine.. ..

I will throw in the mini disc deck!!!
I have to say, I went from my Sony P&S to an entry level Nikon D40 (low of the lows) and my picture quality improved significantly (not just the image quality but the quality of the photos). I love to take night photos so that alone makes a huge difference, and the wide angel lens (18mm from the default kit) is awsome for cityscape.
protein-based memory device.. ..

Brain?
What do you mean no HD?
With this method, you can have something that has more detail than a 1080p TV!!
Too bad he can't make the mushroom moves tho~ I would pay a quarter to play that.
This is really nothing new, all you have to do is to insert a chip. I was in Taiwan and their rail system utilize the same technology. And you can even insert the chip in certain phones and it will act as the fare card. It even works if your cellphone is out of battery. Most people just keep the card in their wallet and swap the wallet at the ticket booth.
You know? DSLRs are actually getting more popular with the average users. The price drops and the mass marketing by companies like Nikon (that whole D40x thing) are really making the entry level DSLRs more common around the street. And if you ever travel to Asia (or if you live in an Asian-tourist heavy spot), you will notice a lot of Asian users are carrying DSLRs, i guess they are more common oversea comparing to the States as well.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
