You're assuming that the pixels are square, but that is a rather odd resolution. I was thinking it was a misquote, but dpreview is quoting a "2.5" TFT LCD Display" with "230,400 dots" and 960x240=230400.
Students have more time than money. The people I've been talking to seem to agree that $30 is a convenience fee for the cost of a legitimate version of Win7 compared to pirating it. If it's a pita to install, that will probably tip the decision in the favor of a pirated copy.
A BIOS flash failed on a server board and I've been sitting here all night with a laptop trying to troubleshoot it. It's 5:23AM. I think I just need a hug.
