I, for one, will never buy another Blackberry until RIM backs off this authoritarian-appeasing stance.

May 16th 2008 10:31AM Although I count as a cell-only person, I don't think it's a good idea to forget about landlines. They are far more reliable and time-tested than cellular technology, not to mention they boast bettery voice quality. What happens if landlines become obsolete and we get hit with a mass network outage?
Landlines should go all-fiber and evolve, not disappear.

It's nice that 6.1 is finally out (my Tilt has been rocking a cooked 6.1 ROM from the genius known as Dutty from XDA), but the fact that the X1 is shown on the story's picture just overshadows the story itself... the X1 is far more exciting than 6.1.

Mar 16th 2008 4:18PM Nice concept. I wonder what the quality of the keys is, though... I currently use a Razer Tarantula and have never had a keyboard that felt so good beneath my fingers. Also, anti-ghosting is something I don't know how gamers live without. I mean, who can stand moving diagonally with WASD and not being able to crouch with C?

Mar 16th 2008 1:46PM It's digital information, but our world is inherently analog. These are actual, physical wavelengths that carry the data, so of course if another stream of data crosses on the same wavelength, there will be interference.
