Samsung, Toshiba, Fujitsu and Hitachi always announce these 2.5" hard drives for laptops that supposedly increase laptop capacity but they never seem to ship when they promise. It seems that only Western Digital ships what it promises when it promises, or slightly late. Samsung is nortorious for making press announcements that never materialize or when if and they do, its too little too late. By the way, where is Seagate in all this??
Buy an HD-DVD to use as an up convert DVD player? Why would you torture yourself waiting up to three minutes for power on, boot up, open, close, load, read, then menu on an HD-DVD player when a normal upconvert DVD player will have you watching in less than 30 seconds from power on to play to get the same end result?
Bought it last month from Amazon. Worst GPS I've ever used. Seems to be built on Windows CE and well, we all know how well that works. Reboot a GPS? YES SIR! Went back inside of 24 hours for credit. And so went my hopes for a GPS with XM SR.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
