Why would Apple do it?

1. They're a hardware company. iTunes is there to sell hardware. All the numbers show that the vast majority of iPod owners still buy their music the old fashioned way. At $300, the iTV doesn't really offer much for the money if all that it can do is accept audio/video streams from your computer. Offering DVR technology, content streaming, and the ability to purchase content from your couch would give people a reason to purchase the product.

2. With Tivos deals with the cable and satellite TV providers this would help push the Apple brand into middle America homes.

3. With a market cap of around 500m, Tivo is a relatively purchase for Apple.

iPod voice - ipod with phone
iPod smartVoice - ipod with smartphone
depends on the features. i wouldn't buy it just because it's an apple phone.

my next phone will be a smartphone with a qwerty keyboard.
This is a smart move by Apple.

I hope to see sections targetted towards Asian, Indian and Black Americans soon.
Looks like they still haven't updated the consumer Macbooks.
That sucks.
This leaves them far behind the laptops from HP.
Why would they release new products during an earnings call? When did that ever happen?
People often think of Google stock being over-priced, but the truth is that Yahoo is the one who is over-priced and is due for a major adjustment considering the decreased growth rate.

Future P/E:
Google 32.69
Yahoo 37.57
If Apple wants to make .mac a consumer hit, then it needs to include iTunes syncing. Otherwise all these new email features are the same stuff that gmail and yahoo offer.
a. Steve Jobs is the largest shareholder of Disney
b. Disney owns Moviebeam
c. Moviebeam is not even close to being successful

Could there be a possibility that moviebeam is incorporated into iTV?

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
