You have got to admire how Apple can use their aura to market something so ridiculously basic.
Perfect evidence that SNE = one of the stupidest companies. They always made a giant splash on announcement, then fail to execute at prime time six month later. Little hint to Sir Howard Stringer, next time, just launch the damn thing when you are ready, skip the hype.
Geez, they got rid of the original MacBook Pro keyboard, which was an amazing one. I always get finger fatigue with my friends' MacBook.
$900?! You can buy two, almost three 24-inch with that.
Does the new earphone with built-in mic work with 2G iPod Touch?
Ballmer will bid millions to do Jobs' coffin for free, funeral, too.

An aluminum box with LED-lit Apple logo on the way to be buried six feet under... hot damn.
I'm greedy for anything free, so I'll keep every piece if...
Companies like OQO are basically dead man walking. The management is a joke, who missed the window entirely. If they can't make money now at ridiculous markup, there is zero chance of seeing black in the future. Big time ODMs are rushing the field with stronger models, lower price. The space is getting crowded, and they are glorifying a concept prototype.
How many products from Google come with ads built in? Google Docs, Talk, Earth, Picasa? Guys at MountainView are smart. They won't squeeze ads into places that irritate end users or impact core functionality of a product.

My worry = Android will DOA by Google's lay-back research centric approach on product intro. These geeks are no AAPL, who are always able to sell skin-deep craps (iMovie, iDVD, iWorks minus Keynote, iPhoto, Mac OS X, Mobile Me) for the price + looks of rare gems.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
