Simpson Bay, St. Maarten
Mu husband is from SA and I have been there 5 times. It is an incredible place. It is absolutely beautiful and I have always found going out to look for animals to be a fun activity. Even if it is just for baboons on the Cape Peninsula. The animal parks are alot of fun, the beaches are great, the water is a little cold down in the Cape Town area, it is warmer as you go further east and up around the coast toward Durban. South Africa also has world class surfing. The people are friendly. Even though they have a huge crime problem you can be perfectly safe. You just have to stay out of the bad areas. We haven't done the train rides, but we have done SA by car. Nothing like a trip through the middle of the Karoo. :)If you ever have the chance to go, GO!
We just got back from the trip from hell. Colorado Springs to Cape Town, South Africa and back done with a 16 month old child. 24 hours to get there, 31 to get back including layovers in Amsterdam and Minneapolis.
How about Grenada?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
