If you are a bookstore, why are you SELLING Windows 7 to students??? Our whole engineering faculty got it in August under MSDN!!
What would you think if the people lined up all had dark, wavy hair, big noses, and big ears and where dressed in rags?

What would you think if the poster had people all with blue eyes and blond hair and the heading said in German

"World's most beautiful people"

"There's no solution like the German solution to the question"

Where the editor goes on to talk about some American company acquiring a German hair company.

Of course you could see just that and make no reasonable conclusions. But "think" about "someone", in another circumstance, who would see something else.

Engadget, I'm sorely disappointed at your lack of sensitivity and open-mindedness. Especially in this connected age when you know you have a very diversified audience. I'm almost certain there was some debate before this image was posted and it's sad that you collectively lacked judgment and decided to post this very irrelevant image anyway.

MacBook Pro (Price) = Netbook + External HDD + 22" Monitor + Keyboard&Mouse + 2.1 Speakers (Price)
Now that's a CEO I would want running my business;someone who cares more about MY bottom line than wasting my money just to beat the competition and hurt their customers.
Thunder in Paradise!!
@250Gb per House. 4 college guys. 60Gb per head. I just got a 20Gb limit with my provider (videotron) and I can't do anything much more than download music, browse and youtube. No high-rez video streaming or movie downloads. Ive stopped playing online because I have no idea how to monitor it for now and @ $8/Gb over the limit, it would be very dangerous to try to "feel" it out.
And why not?

($300 + App Downloads + FW Updates ) x Y Users

or

($200 + App Downloads + FW Updates ) x (Y x 3) Users

I think Apple would rather much have the ability to lock more consumers into their madness.

hmm, I dunno. $1000 on earphones seems like a lot to me. But I'll let you "audiophiles" do your thing.
No reason to. The clix has a better screen than the spinn. And with the new CEO of iriver you can bet the audio quality will be worse as well. Just like all their revamped players.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
