This phone is built by HTC

your entire argument is flawed up knowledge that already exists
I'm all for Google, but they aren't competitors at all. The iPhone is even powered by Google maps. Android isn't the iPhone killer, it is an open source free OS.
The logo needs an update? What are you 12?
I agree with you and a company that believes in open source. All the "fanboys" commenting negative things are just wasting their own time. Android's goal isn't to beat the iPhone, it is to be "first complete, open, and free mobile platform." If apple wants to exclusively sell (their soul) the iPhone on AT&T for $$$ thats fine. Countless people aren't going to keep up with all this jailbreak/pwnage tool updates that happen every couple months. Freedom is what this country was founded on, its what google is doing with android and you waiting in line for a iPhone 3G isn't going to bring Android down.
Friendly Suggestion, maybe you guys could switch over to video reviews. The still picture gallery really doesn't do justice for the new gadgets coming out. I don't have a problem reading a 3 page review, I think you guys did a good job. But, I think I would prefer hearing it first hand from someone on a video while actually holding the Zune and going through it. Not like those crappy CNET video reviews though (2 minuters), maybe something like 5-7min where you could actually go through the review.
Do you need an AT&T SIM card for the unlock?

According to one of the more popular guides (http://www.weputit.com/node/24) at the step of Jailbreak it says:
"Important note: If your phone is fresh out of the box, do the following to restore and update your phone first:
* Make sure the AT&T SIM is inside your iPhone
* Switch off the phone by pressing the Power button for 5 seconds, followed by "slide to power off"

I don't have a access to a AT&T sim card and was wondering if it is really necessary to have one for the unlock.

Thanks
nice that you give stuff away

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
