The question we really need answered is does it make that great twanging / slapping sound when you hold it off the edge of the desk and ping the end of it, sliding it onto the desk as the oscillations subside - and does this void the warranty?
yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
With the number of pixels and the high iso support, you do not need the flash.

I have been using mine extensivley at night in the last two weeks, and not needed the flash. I have been shooting band's performing outside at night, and the stage lights, even from 50 yards away are ample. Noise is way lower than most would care about, and resampling down 50% averages away a fair amount of any noise.

If you are serious about flash photography, then any built in flash is not going to cut it either.

I have the 580EXII, and realised I did not need to have it with me for almost every thing I was shooting, so I left it at home.
Working fine here in Maui.
I did the same math eberyone else did, taking the $50 a month aberage cost, so this seems bery cost effectibe.

How many windmills and solar cell power plants can you get for $25 million, and will they power 10,000 homes? I suspect that wind and solar power may last longer than 10 years and gibe eben greater ROI.
Looks to me like the larger of the two base pieces is at the back, and the smaller removable part is at the front of the case. The larger piece has the cutout for the screen hinge.

Not too sure what the piece in the last picture might be for. Could this cover be under the small removable section, covering the hard drive?
I think Mr. AppleChina was born in 1988 too.
Why does he need 6 rotors?

I can get a perfectly flyable model helicopter from a shop a couple of blocks away, no patent required. And it will fly before that 'scalper' will.

Had my Roomba for just over a year, and only need it to run twice a week (no pets or kids at my house). It covers about 1200 sq.ft. every time, and runs for about hour on a full charge. Needs emptying about once every 3-4 weeks. However - recently it has not been charging properly when it gets back to base so I need to let it run down completely to get it to reset its power manager and charge properly.

It may just be end of life for the battery, but it has not had a long life, 150 recharges or there abouts. I am not too pleased with that. I might buy this Samsung instead of a new Roomba battery purely because they are a better known brand, and iRobot need the competition to improve their offerings.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
