iPhone gets tweaked Safari in firmware 2.2 {Engadget}

Sep 28th 2008 9:20AM If they'd just let 3rd party apps run in the background, there would already be a copy/paste feature on the iphone.

T-Mobile G1 pre-orders sell out (update: not quite yet) {Engadget}

Sep 27th 2008 6:53PM I believe it's been said that on launch day you won't be able to buy a G1 in store unless you live in a 3G market. But 2G markets can buy the pre-orders (though there is a warning).

T-Mobile G1 manual leaks out {Engadget}

Sep 25th 2008 7:54PM Just preordered this puppy. Good bye Curve. For those wondering, the retail price (for those not available for an upgrade) is $299. Still cheaper than gen1 iphone.

Can't wait for Oct. 22!

The T-Mobile G1 {Engadget}

Sep 23rd 2008 5:33PM Uh! When I try to order it I'm logged out and when I log back in it just takes me to the my.tmobile.com page. How do you order this thing!

Google's Brin says Chrome headed to Android, probably {Engadget}

Sep 4th 2008 5:39PM Since there is no linux version of Chrome, yet, and Android is based on Chrome -- this seems like something we're just going to have to wait on.

HTC's Android-driven Dream revealed in glorious spy photos {Engadget}

Aug 30th 2008 5:39PM Looks pretty sexy to me. Sure, a black might be a bit better though. But if this is released as just white, I'm still getting one. Been with T-Mobile since 1999, when it was still called Powertel, so I'm not leaving anyways; contracts are not an issue with me.

I do agree that it's tougher to type with the right hand, but I think we will get used to positioning our thumbs perpendicular to the phone, not parallel. I know that this is how I type with my Curve anyways.

Support for Access Linux Platform waning in the wake of Android? {Engadget}

Aug 18th 2008 6:49AM "having Google's brand behind Symbian could very well mean 'game over' for mobile Linux in the mobile phone market,"

WTF? Android IS mobile Linux for crying out loud.

New York Times: T-Mobile to sell HTC Android phone as early as October {Engadget}

Aug 15th 2008 6:48AM I'm just hoping the plan isn't overpriced. I already pay quite a bit for the BB plan and I don't see a reason why the HTC phone should have plans starting at much higher.

New York Times: T-Mobile to sell HTC Android phone as early as October {Engadget}

Aug 15th 2008 6:47AM Huh? What? You don't have to hack Android. You can do whatever you want with it. Apple has a bigger app base because it's been out for well over a year. Android will exceed it in apps within 6 months.
