How can you make the claim that it doesn't have multitouch? Just because it isn't featured in two applications doesn't mean this phone lacks it. If the screen is capacitive, it can do multitouch.
No Starcraft jokes, really?
Even if they didn't put a Core 2 Duo in it... 1.2GHz Core 2 Solo (original CPU) > Atom by a long shot.
And XP is relied on a lot in the UMPC world as it still offers the best battery life and performance while retaining a huge level of software compatibility.
As is Apple's desire to lock everyone into their software and hardware, their come up with their own proprietary format called ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec). At least they have a lossless codec that is support by iTunes and their iPods, but it sucks because if you want to start ripping all of your music into ALAC what will happen down the road when you want to use another software media player or DAP? You are stuck with Apple unless you want to convert your entire ALAC library. I hate Apple for things like this.
"...dragging the files into your iTunes library and then pretending that iTunes supports FLAC."

Fixed.
Yay you guys finally got a slightly better banner image from Big! A vast improvement over the last that you seem to have been using for months, but still some easy to stop artifact over the font in the image : /. But still, it is oh-so-much better than before, thanks!
Good luck everyone.
My favorite post in the last five years was the first one showing us the N810. I was so excited to see that new pocketable device. Unfortunately the unit didn't meet my expectations!
Is it just me, or does the banner image for this post become lower in quality every single week?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
