sure, the TV and the xbox would be nice, but I could really use the old spice. I smell bad.
This would look great in my bathroom.
The interchangeable tips design makes me wonder if it's a rebadged iGo...
The WaPo article linked is horribly misleading. The Howells were not sued because they ripped music for their own use, but rather because they ripped music for their own use... and then stored it in the "shared files" folder on KaZZaa.

If they had just ripped it and never shared it, the RIAA would have no way of knowing they ripped it in the first place.

Here's the legal brief, which talks on page two about how 54 of the songs in the user's Kazzaa shared folder were from his own collection:

I think the real news here is that U-Haul bought some new trucks. Based on the moving van I got the time I rented from them, I'm pretty sure they haven't replaced anything in their fleet since 1986.
@karim

I can't really see the Asus ePc as being much of a substitute for this, considering it's twice the price. Yes, it's a cool device, and great for what it's built for, but you could get two of the Everex machines for the price of one ePC.

One thing I found odd about the review is the reviewer kept harping that the machine was slow and that you would be better buying a machine with more RAM - which seems like a silly complaint, given how easy and cheap it is to add RAM to a PC.

At one point, ClubIT was selling just the motherboard (with the VIA processor included) for this machine for around $60 - I've been debating buying it and building a machine to fool around with, since I have the rest of the parts I need.
in. I could use a new watch - the band broke on my other two and I keep forgetting to get them fixed.

so I use my vx6700
Umm, actually, if you do a whois on bftrules.com, you'll find that it's registered to Ford Motor Company.

So this isn't a spoof, it's an actual Ford-owned website.

I drive a Ford pickup, but it's just the lightweight Ranger, so I guess I'm allowed to keep putting gel in my hair and drinking the occasional latte.
funny. I actually had an Impala as a rental last week for a business trip several states away and thought it was pretty decent. My coworker and I both thought it had pretty decent acceleration too. It's boring, but the ride/handling/ect seemed good. Interior design could have been a little better though - there were several controls on one stick, so every time I went to use the windshield washers, I turned on the high beams.

Then again, my daily driver is a Ford Ranger and my coworker normally drives a Pontiac Vibe. I guess if your normal daily driver is something faster, the Impala probably doesn't seem as speedy.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
