Jul 8th 2009 11:58AM There are some homebrew apps out now that are not in the catalog. I have installed about 7 apps in the past 2 days on my non hacked pre. Still, we need more official apps.

Jul 7th 2009 1:46PM I have a pre and must admit it is not an iphone killer. Most people who I talk to have never seen it before. With the huge mindshare lead the iphone has and the terrible pre commercials, there is no way this will beat the iphone. I think it will be more like the storm or g1 in that it attracts a lot of people, especially those already on the network, but people will always think of the iphone as the best phone. I think I can be fairly ceetain when I say there will not be a true iphone killer for some time.

Jun 26th 2009 3:10PM I got my pre yesterday and am loving it. This phone is amazing. My last smartphone was an old school winmo back in 04. The coolest thing for me is the 3g speed though. I became accustomed to horrible web speeds.
