I'll wager that Apple's tablet will be EXACTLY 275.92 millimetres wide.
I agree. TomTom force us to buy what they promote as 'new' maps, at the full price, for what are in fact minor updates and once we do, we find that barely any information has changed and we have no redress.
I will never buy another map from them.
Tip my hat to my adopted country - Italy - and our local driverless pod service in Perugia.

Not just for suits either, but for all the rest of us, at €1 per journey.
http://www.play.com called and they want their trademark back.
It's amazing what you can do with a cat-litter tray, a tile adhesive application tool and a pack of Letraset.
Optional bluetooth keyboard for heavy duty typing, my friend.
If Microsoft sold their toaster in Europe, the EU would force them to sell it without a handle. Other handles are available.
Somebody needs to tell Castrol's engineers that bikes lean over when going round corners. The oil is going from side-to-side when they do that and going from front-to-back of the sump during acceleration and braking. It seems that this is a better test of the mechanical linkages to the engine than the effectiveness of the lubricant. Either that or its a silly publicity stunt. Meh!
Shame it doesn't work in Gmail (but then neither did command+Alt+Shift+V)
I guess I'll just have to keep using Text Edit as halfway house.
AvantGo was THE killer app that turned my Clie from a mere gadget to an cherished part of everyday life. A sincere Thank You for the years of service and best wishes to all the staff who worked there.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
