May 14th 2008 1:46PM Yes it is hard to beleive.

Dyack: 'Strong chance' that Eternal Darkness will return {Joystiq}
May 14th 2008 1:07PM No offense but I don't think you are teaching anyone who visits a video game blog anything new with this info. It is pretty much as standard as saying, "Did you know Mario was originally named Jumpman?'
Tell your brother or sister who doesn't know much about games. Everyone here knows it already.
Joystiq interview: CliffyB talks Gears of War 2 {Joystiq}
May 14th 2008 11:57AM Wow, speaking of people with a thumb for a penis: CliffyB.
I have no idea what that means... Sony has screwed with my head....
Game Informer snags first pic of Guitar Hero IV drums {Joystiq}
May 14th 2008 10:58AM What a bone head move. The one thing Guitar Hero had going for it was that it was a cheaper way to get into the game then Rock Band. And if Guitar Hero 3's downloadable content is any indication of the future then I think I'll stick with Rock Band.

Kojima: Altair costume unlockable in MGS4 {Joystiq}
May 13th 2008 6:01PM LOL!
Sorry I was just abbreviating Assassin because I always misspell it. WAsn't thinking clearly. I like Assassin's Creed just fine, but I like Monkey Island more.

May 13th 2008 4:12PM I would have preferred Guybrush Threepwood but I expect Ass. Creed fans are excited.
An evening with Uwe Boll's Postal {Joystiq}
May 13th 2008 10:13AM My problem is not with the games he chooses to make into movies. I don't care about any of the ones he has ruined either. It is that he is completely ruining any chance for games to be taken seriously in film. Everytime someone generally makes a good script based on a good video game, producers immediately point to the failure of bloodrayne or House of the Dead and say that video game movies don't work. And when they do get through, like the upcoming Prince of Persia the directors have to go to great lengths to assure people that the film won't be a video game movie, so basically they just bought the title "Prince of Persia". Do other producers/directors have to give a disclaimer that their work will be nothing like the source material? No. In any other situation they make sure the fans know the movie will be true to the book, comic, anime or whatever it is based on (even if it ultimately isn't).
Games into movies have a bad wrap and Boll is one of the problems.
Also there is the fear that one day he MIGHT get his hands on a property people actually care about.
Japanese hardware sales, April 28 - May 4: Mothers in gaming edition {Joystiq}
May 12th 2008 10:10AM To all the people who say the wii bubble is about to burst or it is a fad. Take note of the chart this week. The PSP is still on top and it is still growing in sales, but much slower.
Ergo, the "Monster Hunter" bubble is about to burst, as it is only a fad.
Note the difference between the two and then proceed to say, "You are right Mr. Lonecow! How could I have ever doubted you?"
