Jeez.

MS, is proprietary wireless THAT much of a concern for you?
@ Al

My env can do more than just sync with a headset. It can transfer pics and videos with the OBEX profile and tether my Ev-Do 3G connection.

And there are Verizon phones with SIM cards. And CDMA isn't rubbish. Maybe if you count qualcomm's monopoly on it, but it's just been toppled by broadcom.

And the use of the iPhone was simply for reference of a recent non-verizon (and non-cdma) phone that was released crippled.
@ Al.

Crippled phones.....that's a good one. Which phone has crippled bluetooth that only allows for a headset, locked firmware that has to be hacked, and an expensive price tag for less features?

2 things: Verizon phones and the iPhone.

CDMA also doesn't use SIM cards, instead opting for ESN numbers held on their computers. It's as simple as logging on the VZW account website, switch an ESN, and bam you can use a new phone. Not as glorious as switching a SIM card, but I can hot swap phones in a single day. Downloading a free application syncs all my contacts for FREE.
I don't see how, except for the exception of the 20GB crowd which doesn't get wifi and card readers.

This is great, but I still would have left it at 1 option. Now the 60 will sell more than the 80. If this was the 360 with it's proprietory drives this might fly, but you can buy and add your own SATA drive. 60GB AHOY!
Mmmm.....cerebral bore.

I hope this game rocks. Jungle based FPS with dinos.

Hopefully the multi is playing as 12 dinos against 4 human players.
Yes, because if a format's better than their competitors they must be cheating.

Blu-ray is supported by more companies and studios, not to mention you get a free blu-ray player with the PS3. HD-DVD is spearheaded by Toshiba and a few other companies and has fewer studios for it. The tech may be cheaper, but that means jack when there's nothing to watch.

By the time decent dual format players come out Blu-ray will have gained a bigger lead so it won't be worth it.
GTA. They bought that.

But MS has been buying more. They pulled dead rising to the 360. They bought Ace Combat 6 and a couple of others. They are scared of Sony and want to hold their lead over Sony.

But alot more games have come out for both systems like Assassins Creed, GTA4, and a few others.

But in terms of first party games, Sony has the upper hand. Resistance was a fun game and so was motorstorm. Not to mention GoW3. And the 3rd party exclusives like NGS that was just released, MGS4, Lair, and a couple others.

It took the 360 a little while to gather steam. I remember last summer the only online game people played was Halo 2. Now it's split between Forza 2, GoW, and Halo 2.
And if SSB doesn't have online play I'm not buying a Wii ever.

C'mon Nintendo, it's been over 5 years or so since xbox Live AND ps2's lackluster online network debuted. Not to mention it's been a year since PSN debuted, and thay've had only a few hiccups.

Time to either get your internet on or lose the hardcore audience for the caual audience.
Yeah I'll enter. I'm feeling lucky.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
