How many juniors who are smaller than a size 1, shop in Middle America at JCP. I seriously doubt she was too slender to find anything there. If there were tons of options at shops in small towns, we'd have less JCP shops around. But for those who don't live in New York and don't have the means to look away from 70% off clearance racks, this is our answer. Sorry we aren't rich enough to buy from designers and pay for a personal trainer. Some of us have to work with what we have.
The White Stripes "Icky Thump" has a prostitute theme too.
Smashing Pumpkins reminded me of why I love them this year.
Yeah, because the RAZR commercial DIDN'T use the song using the lines, "Isn't she pretty in pink" and started selling them for Valentine's Day, nonetheless.
You are right on one thing though, "Nonsense. Get the facts before you post."
Your ignorant and misogynist statement is EXACTLY why women have these "stupid" conversations.
Old issue of creating gender roles from birth. Boys like blue, girls like pink.
Actually I find the pink color quite nice. For those of us girls who like to buy pink things, it's because it makes us feel good to be a girl. I don't see anything wrong with it unless there are men out there snickering over our "girlie" choice in colors. If they are purposely trying to be derogatory by offering technology gadgets in pink, then the problem isn't the girls who buy them, it's the men intend for the ad campaign to be patriarchal and patronizing. (i.e. "Look girls, we smart boys made something cute for you to buy for $200 and look, you can even use it to talk to your friends with it!")

My first color choice for anything is black 99% of the time. However, pink and black together is awesome. My RAZR is pink and I have face-plates that I use just the same as I could with a black RAZR. I waited for the pink RAZR to become available before I signed my cell service contract. The "Pretty in Pink" Valentine's Day phone was just too damn cute to pass up. :-)
Actually being called a "kraut", a "mick" or a "yank" would offend me. If the word came from a Brit, I would know that isn't wasn't supposed to be an endearing term.
"There is no reason for three different shades of pink for the RAZR."
Are you kidding me? That's like saying there's no need for more than three different types of shoes. Sheesh...
No, I'm with Heather on that one. Bad choice of wording.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
