I Won! Woohoo!
Damn.. you beat me to it!
I think "erect" and "flaccid" are dangerous words to use when describing hardware that is linked to your chat program...
Well, I for one would have loved to go see this...
That's just creepy.
I've used a pair of etymotics in-ear with circum-aural ear protectors over them, and could not hear the drumset in the same room, or people talking right in front of me. A nice feature of this style of nearly 100% isolation earphones would be some kind of electronic bypass so that I don't have to take them out of my head when I want to have a conversation. Even so, I much prefer the etys to those silly noise-cancelling headphones any day.
I once had a USB drive fall off my keychain, and get run over by a snowblower. I found it in spring in the backyard under a tree where it was thrown. It still works just fine!
"Real Robots of Genius."
I'd like to remind our new robot beer-pouring overlords, that as a trusted engaget-poster I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground brewing caves...
lol @ #45!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
