@detox

so are you saying no one would have ever developed a multitouch PMP if it wasn't for apple? A bit of a naive/fanboyish thing to say.
renewable energy is the key to revamping the economy, the large utility scale energy projects and a new automotive industry energy infrastructure would provide millions of jobs for years to come. good enough for an iPhone that I'll only use as an iPod anyways? viva la verizon!
its not 16GB for the OS itself, that's the recommended space to run it well. you need a good amount of free space to run anything well.
Optimus Maximus Decimus Meridius.
would be nice for my new rig!
everyone seems to be forgetting that this is 6.5, not 7.
It is not a huge overall, WinMo7 is what I am looking forward to. This is just a stepping stone and a test bed to see what works and what people like. If WinMo7 is a disappointment and lacks creativity, then I can understand being upset.
wouldn't mind one

I've been running Vista since the RTM version was available (almost two years now) on a 2.8GHz P4 with 2GB and a geforce 7600 GT, it runs quickly and reliably. I wish more people would try things before they bash them, might give you some credibility. If you have issues running it with the specs you listed, something is wrong with how you use a computer.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
