So this web to e-ink is software and not hardware I presume? Any ideas as to whether the nook can pull off such a trick?
Design wise the nook is nicer, I'm not digging that black bar separating the two screens, and I'm sure refresh rates and such will be better on the B&N backed nook.
The problem I see in that is you don't really have too many benefits over a book when reading a novel. I don't think many people read multiple novels at the same time and even the largest novel isn't that much bigger or heavier than the kindle. In the academic sense however, a e book reader has a lot of possible advantages. You can do quick searches, you can carry multiple reference books and books for all your classes. You can take notes, solve mathematical equation directly in the book, delete them later or send them off to your professor. All this is not their yet but I think that in the future the benefits will out way the negatives in a academic setting.
Yeah they do suck but myself being polish I can understand the edit from a marketing stand point. There just isn't that many black people in Poland. On top of that racism is pretty rampant; my theory is because of lack of exposure to other races in general. Still this is pretty freaky.
Ha that's what you think, I on the other hand wont be satisfied until I have a paper thin TV that I can nail to the wall like a poster!
its actually nine, "deep" and "in" are separate links.
Probably all the hacks/mods you guys post... people make some crazy things.
I would say my fav are the interviews you guys do, always nailing them with the hard questions!
I'm actually a pretty big fan of both halo and fable and I haven't bought a 360 yet. Though I do agree that this bundle is a little to good to be true, If I bought it I cant imagine buying many more games for a few months.
the way this is written you would have though the asking price was 2000 dollars, but 500? Yeah its pretty high for the specs but nothing crazy.
and what's wrong with that? Plus they are king in many other categories too, from regular notebooks to the desktop, not to mention their numbers for their mobil os. The point is that this is a area that Linux could have taken a advantage of, small file, low power consumption, instant on, unique interface... yet ms is killing. Id say that's something to brag about.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
