The sad thing is Verizon will jump at the first opportunity to have the iPhone on their network, and Apple will jump for the first opportunity to be on Verizon. Why? Because this fight only matters until they can share the cash of the consumer.
Sorry that extra "for" should not be there...
Can you buy another controller for without the game for multiplayer? If not, what's the point!
WHOA! Is that price a typo?
Not unless you buy new versions of each song you put on the drive.
@Tiptup300

I see what you did there....

BTW, this is one nice looking piece of hardware, now if the UI is intuitive, and I have true control unlike the handcuffs I wear daily with my 3GS I may have to purchase a separate music and video player.
Now this would be a nice back to school gift!
I hope it's me this time!

If every consumer was so rational we'd be in a much better place. It seems like simple logic, but to many that frequent these pages they are the people in line for Step 3 rather than paying heed to Steps 1 & 2. Great post by you nonetheless.
You bash on AT&T but contract cancellation as it stands is industry standard for the most part. I agree 100% with PeterF, if you don't have an iPhone and want to upgrade to a new phone mid-contract you have to pay. What makes an iPhone 3g owner so F'n special? Get over it and yourself and shell the bucks for breaking a contract if you want it so bad. I have a 1st gen and may upgrade, I didn't upgrade last year because I wanted my contract to expire so I could play the field. Not seeing anything too intriguing I may re-up with AT&T once I take the Pre on a test drive. You know, cause, that's what adults do....
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
