I wonder if M$ gets smart and tries an idea like this (or buys it from them) on the next gen of xbox 360.. i mean if it saves them 20% of resending xbox's then it may be worth a few million which may be more than the dev's and producers would get.

lol nice.
This is nice. I was hoping you didnt scrap it since it took a little while to post the 2nd part. I was also hoping part 2 would be the last but its still ok. Cant wait to see final project.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
