That part totally mystified me. Is there a reference to something I'm missing, or was that just an absurdist end to the video?
Did you watch the video? The idea of moving the television set, and therefore Mario, along a background changes the way you as participant interact with the game. That's actually the concept behind the installation, not to make a physical Mario just for the sake of making a physical Mario.
If this was in an episode of Futurama, the episode would probably be terrible, since it would apparently involve a substitution of unfunny gags for actual satire or wit.
Football, in my coveted opinion, is close to the worst.
Dave's right. Clearly a J-Bass, albeit one with a tremolo arm... curious.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
