I want this.
1.) Fix the miserable video codec support. They have software for you to convert videos, but without it, it's a terrible experience trying to get it to work. The format used by the Fuze is ultra particular, and I haven't found useful input from them or on their forums about exact formatting for the device in 3rd party software.

2.) At least OGG support would be nice. FLAC too if they could.

3.) Allow for listing of netcasts in ascending order. Maybe I'm thick and can't locate it, but audio programs are listed descending, and if I have a back-log of shows, it means each time I have to manually switch to the next.

Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied.
A lot of people don't. But for me, this is perfect. I do not have a cell phone, nor do I want one. And I don't like Text messaging. I'd rather tap into Wifi and use my AIM/MSN/YAhoo and hopefully in the future, Jabber Contacts.

I agree with the comment below. It should run Pidgin.
I've been waiting for this for so long.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am trying to configure out a really dumbed down and intuitive PC for my grandmother. She recently had a stroke and while she is under my care I would like to repurpose a laptop for her to surf and email her children. Anyone have any experience with what input devices and UI's are really understandable for the over 80 crowd?"
