The blu-ray drive actually reads data at essentially the exact same speed as the 360 dvd drive.
Why the installs are so much slower is a very good question.

Oct 29th 2008 8:50AM i have a library of ps2 games and refuse to pick up a ps3 that can't play them. currently my ps2 has disc problems and can only play about half of the games.

prince of persia used time control for if you took a heavy hit or you missed a jump and fell down or otherwise made a (not necessarilly fatal) mistake to rewind time as long as you held down the button. it also allowed the player slow down time, therby making it easier to react to traps and enemies.

whether or not this comes to psn, if braid is the best game on xbla then i feel sorry for the poor selection of games that must be under it.
