This may be the stupidest blog entry ever.

I'd expect to see something like this on a message board, but not a blog like TUAW. Though if you start letting message board losers write your blog entries, this is what you'll end up with.
Navigon 1.4 includes Google Local search integrated, so there's no need for WhereTo.

FAIL
Love when people bring this mantra out. I had Verizon for 15 years and can tell you it won't be any better over there.

Have fun with your locked down hardware!
Agree with all - this is a customer-positive move. At least by soliciting feedback, they'll put resources towards those problems that impact the most people. This allows them to prioritize what to work on, or even alert them to problems. How can you find fault with that?
I hope the results are better than the 'example' photos they used. Those look like someone opened up Photoshop and simply played with the saturation slider. A fun toy maybe but nothing else than that, really. If you have a photo taken by the iPhone that you want to improve, the only real way is to bring it into a post-processing application where you have much greater control.
What Sony ads? You're using Firefox and NOT using AdBlockPlus?
Dropbox is a much better option if all you're looking to do is have access to files. Plus it's FREE.
Totally left out Pocket Tunes. Wunder Radio is good but so is Pocket Tunes.
Should've added: use Spotlight as an app launcher.
Ditto on CardStar. Great idea, but in practice it falls flat. I got tired of scanning it and looking like a fool when it didn't work (which was more often than it worked).

It *sounds* like it'd be great, but do you really want a cashier or people behind you laughing at you as you try futilely to get the thing to work? I got sick of it - you likely will too.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
