I just put together a comparable setup to mount in my racecar using an Archos PVR, a Sony Bullet cam, a wide angle lens, and a padded pelican case.
More betterer and less than half the cost.
Bought one yesterday, price is a little steep compared to most plan subsidized phones, but its exactly what Im looking for so Im willing to spring for it.
A la carte plan is similar pricing and minutes as other carriers, but with the benefit of per KB priced usage of data services.
Uses Sprint towers, and supposedly Verizon where there is a sprint hole, so coverage should be excellent. (provided the phone itself pulls a good signal)

Ill post up a review when I get it, which hopefully will be monday!!!
GPS is unlimited with the all-in plan. Priced by KB in the ala carte plan.

Im really considering this. I dont use data stuff much but the GPS could be a lifesaver. And I love that phone. Is it really a proper GPS reciever?
Or just some permutation of the location based cell tower triangulation?

so it takes a bunch of MIT "scientists" to figure out that ethanol has a very high octane rating (although technically not octane, but equivalent resistence to detonation) thus allowing for higher engine compression and higher output per unit of fuel burned.

Funny....backyard hicks souping up their musclecars have been doing this for decades. I guess those MIT guys have to justify their grants between bong hits somehow.
Its not even close to street legal. Accelerating that fast comes down to grip over horsepower, and that car is using full drag racing slicks.

There are plenty of truely street legal AWD cars in this country that perform similarly. Im really surprised that car made it on fifth gear, its really not the least bit impressive.

fantastic. Political laced commentary even on engadget.
While no doubt Wynne does not have a finely tuned schmooze generator like politicians do, Im also fairly confident that the AP took this out of context for more impact.

If you are going to criticize, offer an alternative. I mean really, are you going to test it on puppies and rabbits?
Or should we just go back to putting bullets in people. Ive got no problems with that.
2" of suspension travel? Must be a joke if they seriously think that will ever fly. Or maybe the FutureWorld™ roads will be as smooth as glass...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for the best geotagging camera currently available. The most important feature for me is the accuracy of the GPS module, so any hard specs on satellite receiver would be really useful. Thanks for your time!"
