Love American Style...
And oh yes... this should be something all high schools should have. Put all their textbooks in this thing so the kids don't have to break their backs with backpacks. Make it look as sleek as a Mac Book Air.
Aside from the obvious page button locations and price, I would add a vocal reader. Sometimes you just want to close your eyes and let the thing read for you.
Does anybody know a PMP that supports both Mp4 & WMA (without conversion software)?
Too bad you couldn't "slip" this into a sleek docking port with an optical drive, SD ports, USBs, extended battery, etc.
Chicks love Hello Kitty Tech stuff!
How about this...
A full-size touch-screen keyboard, then construct the physical keys on top of the touch-screen, except each key would be a glass lens. With a light-tight keyboard case, only the glass-lens-keys would reflect each image from the touch-screen.

This should be cheaper then making 101 OLED screen-keys.
I did care over a year ago...

BTW, does anyone make a full size touch screen keyboard? That would have been a lot cheaper.
If any company can pull this off (aside from MS or Apple), it would have to be this one. I remember back in the days an Amiga computer can run a Microsoft program, Apple program, and Commodore program all at the same time. I wonder what kind of chips they will be using now? PowerPC?
Autism is considered the silent epidemic. Now with one in every 150 unborn babies diagnosed with this, whereas in 1983 it was 1 in every 10,000, I could understand why a product like this is made. Esp. since nobody really knows what's causing this.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
