After using the AT&T Navigator while lost in Boston last week. I found it extremely frustrating.

Every time I would start "navigating" my phone would ring (bad luck I guess). When I answered it, I would loose all GPS functionality, and get even more lost. Finally I just had to ignore business calls so that I could make it to the airport on time for my flight.

I just switched from a Blackberry Bold that would allow the AT&T Navigator software to run in the background, so the iPhone was a bit of a change for me.

I hope that Apple decides to allow background apps in the future. At lease allow users to pick one or two apps that can run in the background. Until this happens, I may have to buy a Garmin as my Blackberry was always "Good Enough".

Who knows, maybe TomTom's software won't suffer from this problem somehow.

I guess by "available today" they mean through bestbuy.com. Which, by the way, does not even have a picture of the device. I put in several zip codes into the product locator, and it comes back with bupkis.
I would listen to my morning station KLLC Alice @ 97.3
or my afternoon station KEXP
I'd love to try Sous Chef.

I would love to win one of these. I'm running out of Disk Space.
I have been eying one of these for awhile now.
Saturday is the 31st (and my birthday) Friday is the 30th.

I think I just figured out why it is not working for some people.

Make sure you right click on the stack in the dock, and sort by "Date Modified"

that is what did it for me.
I hope I win. I'm starting to think Engadget does not love me......

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
