Sony's PSP Go available t-t-t-today junior! {Engadget}
Oct 1st 2009 3:26PM oh and an interesting note, apart from a capactive touch screen I think the iPod touch 16gb and PSP 16gb are fairly matched (all size discretions aside) and the PSP is a tad bit cheaper for the same capacity.
Sony's PSP Go available t-t-t-today junior! {Engadget}
Oct 1st 2009 3:16PM Personally speaking, as someone who has an iPod touch and a PSP. I play my psp way more than my iPod. Gaming needs buttons, just saying!!
I think the Go is a miserable flop although an amazing attempt to try something new.
Sony should have introduced a hybrid system. I understand they want to shrink the size but come on guys, give us the option of playing our old games or ATLEAST a conversion program. The consumer has the power in the end; I hope this doesn't play out like the exorbitant price tags of the PS3 hurting sales numbers and concurrently developer support.
Also just another add in, the apps I buy on my ipod touch rarely exceed 3 dollars and for the ones that have, I never play them enough to justify the pricing!

Microsoft gets serious about retail stores with exec hire {Engadget}
Feb 13th 2009 2:17AM Microsoft really has the chance to get something right here. Their hardware business has really grown over the last 10 years and they now have the chance to do something really special with their own retail outlets. It will add an incredibly human element to the entire home PC brand, something that Apple has been kicking them in the nuts on for years.
Hey MS, if you are going to open up some retail outlets, you need to start designing a closed computing platform first. Who cares if people say you are copying Apple, you are already doing it on your Xbox's and it would transfer very nicely over to a PC, just think about amalgamating payment systems into laptops for the online distribution channels. Huge bucks.

iPhone invading Canada tomorrow? {Engadget}
Jan 15th 2008 3:39AM I think it might actually be Bell, but it's either Bell or Telus. Rogers owns the entire GSM network in Canada though since it bought Fido, so you can argue that they have the largest "network" but in reality, they have so much dead space its a bitch to use. CDMA is king in north america unfortunately.
however Telus is the most profitable followed by Rogers and then Bell, I bet it just KILLS Bell that they have such a huge subscriber list but shitty revenue.
