Used it on American twice on Flights 2 and 181 form LAX to JFK and back in standard class last week. Got a promotional code for the first flight so cost was 10.00 and 12.95 for the second that covers the entire flight. My Cisco Vista VPN worked fine. Skype probably would have worked although its against T&Cs. Claim was that it wasn't allowed by FCC or FAA or someone and I didn't want my account trashed for now til the end of time.. Skype did show who was on line and who was off.

Watched ABC news video clips using Flash that worked perfectly. Fox had a problem handling the bandwidth.
Looks like my toshiba u305 and specs are similar to u405.

No big deal. The devil is in the bugginess.
Power I don't care about, energy density, yes. Since I don't have a subscription, its not obvious as to the energy/size or energy/weight ratio. Give some real data.
Wait till the cells are coated with algae and/or half of them starting sinking for who knows what reason. And then there is the little beasities that will want to burrow into the flotation. I give it five years before its on the bottom.
I agree, the cost isn't currently worth the investment. Now when gas gets to $16/gal, let's talk. BTW, the greens won't be happy until we use are using the ultimate gadget again, the horse and buggy. And heating our homes with horsecrap.
Wait til the spammers and viral ad artists hook into this product.
I've saw the prototype last year. (see http://blogs.edmunds.com/strategies/361) GM is serious. The biggest issue is decent battery technology.
His lawyers must be jumping off buildings after they found he made such a stupid statement. His statement regarding "control" could be construed as intent to conspire to fix prices. Not good.
Well,TWC doesn't allow add-on HD for the Moxi.
I bought a Toshiba u305-s5127 in 1 day, got most of the features and saved 30%.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
