People would just cut it out. Even if it was placed in a random locations, scanner technology could locate it and it can be cut out. Worthless technology.
This issue is apparent in a lot of iPhones, perhaps a majority in the week 37-38 time frame. Apple must be aware of it by now. I've had three iPhones and two of them (both week 38) have this issue. Perhaps they cut corners on screen manufacturing recently? My week 28 that suffered from dead multi-touch had a beautiful screen. Also, not only is the entire screen dark, but most images suffer a distinct lack of quality. The problem is not just "negative black" but the whole screen itself.

"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
